Our Spring Production 2023 is ALMOST READY!
Putting on a production is exhilarating, terrifying and a ton of work! We love it. We enjoy providing opportunities for adults to participate both on stage and off, in front of the camera or behind it.
Long before casting decisions are made, scripts have to be chosen. Scouring online sources, reaching out to local authors, building a script library, and READING READING READING are part of the process.
How do we narrow down the choices? Our upcoming production is part of our senior community outreach efforts so multi generational plays and plays with older characters were given priority. We have enjoyed the plays we produced from the Senior Theatre Resource Center so that was an easy catalogue to return to! Someone's in the Kitchen is a delightful play written by local writer Jeff DeSantis that has been on Veronica's to produce list for years. What a pleasure to finally bring it to life again.
Our show will go up April 1,2,7,8 2023 at a different location each weekend. Save the date!

Meet our Stage Manager
Friends of Stoops Ferry Productions will recognize long time collaborator, board member, improvisor, sound recordist, film production assistant, and actor Bill Holleran. Bill acted in our 2019 production of 'Post It's' and 'Eleanor's Passing' as well as holding the lead in our improv film 'Fishin w' Abe' created for Steel City Improv's 2021 telethon.
Meet the director of Dumpster Divers
Trish Eichler will be directing this hilarious one act to close our show. What happens when 4 women, 1 janitor, 1 ladder, and a missing game are in the same play? Why hilarity ensues! Veronica is thrilled to welcome another director to the team. The cast is ready to go and this play will be a delight. Who wants to help us build a portable dumpster?
